Thanks Ed,
I am not actually wanting more connections to the station. Not a Bandwidth
issue, just nice house keeping for when active on a conference.
When connected to a conference server, I am wishing for my node to send a
message to subsequent connections asking them to transfer their connection to said conference server. This will help of many levels, namely transparency for all on the conference server.
This could be due to the connection limit being reached or when the node is
connected to a specific conference/node.
I was thinking a flag file that, if present, sends a message to the
connection requesting. Simple touch create the flag file at a specific time (via cron) and then rm -f when no longer needed.
I have a setting in the custom_on that sends a message up one connection, but
this is not triggered when there is a connection established.
Just throwing ideas around. More a nicety not a necessity. A way of learning
more about the system.
You should be able to do this with either the welcomeconnect feature, or
adding a "tlbcmd play4 command directed at the user. And make sure you
check the callsign of who connects, so you don't accidentally sent the
audio to the conference! :D
