    Hi Everyone,
Sorry for all the test spam, ive been troubleshooting a problem sending echomail from my new Synchronet BBS.

Ive been able to recieve echomail, but when it comes to sending, no matter what i tried, it was hit or miss sending outbound echomail.

I think ive got i sorted now, it seems to have been a problem with BinkP the internal Synchronet mailer. I disabled that, and echomail seems to be going out again.

    Thanks Everyone.

    Hi Everyone,
Sorry for all the test spam, ive been troubleshooting a problem sending echomail from my new Synchronet BBS.

Don't ever apologize for sending test spam. We all do it when we connect to a new network. That's what the echo is for, after all. :)

    I got them all. :)

So I set IceEdit up per the wiki and told it to qoute all but am getting no quoted text. :( Also don't get any if I chage it to prompt.

I suspect the wiki(.synchro.net) needs some updating as there are several config options that are missing from the examples.

We will see if Pico works well with synchronet. The editors written specifically for it do not seem to.

What do you mean when you say you are not getting quoted text? You should be able to press Ctrl-Q to open the quote window in IceEdit - Is the quote window not opening?

I've used several mesasge editors on Synchronet and have not had a problem quoting with any of them.

I'm going to guess that you've completely misunderstood how SlyEdit's quoting works. You need to type CTRL-Q or "/Q" without quotes on an empty line in the editor in order to bring up the quote window where you can select each line to quote.
