    I recently just finished this a few months ago. It took me, no joke, several years to play through.

    That's because I took LOTS of long breaks, but would keep picking it up to play after a while, get sidetracked again, and not pick it up for a while. I find this is pretty typical of me when it comes to Dragon Quest games. I still have my Dragon Warrior III NES cart that I need to finish as well...

    But I digress. Dragon Quest XI is great. Arguably the best in the series. So much to do, so many goodies to search and find, an absolutely exceptional endgame/postgame experience, not to mention a great cast of characters.

    Only DQ I finished was DQ1, DQ6 is like 33% finished (save file on android cloud), DQ3 is on the orb quest.
