    A predominantly cloudy day with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, heaviest across southern and western areas during the afternoon. Some early brightness in the north may persist through midday before thickening cloud brings precipitation more widely. Conditions turning damp and misty later, especially near higher ground and Atlantic coasts. Temperatures reaching 11-14?C inland and along coasts, coolest in the north and west. Light to moderate east-southeast winds gradually veering south and easing through the afternoon, becoming light westerly overnight.

    00-06: Mostly cloudy with patchy drizzle developing, light dew or fog patches forming mainly in valleys and near coasts, temperatures 7-11?C, light east-southeast winds easing.

    Tomorrow will bring a warm day across Connemara with temperatures reaching the mid-twenties for most areas, though coastal and island locations will be slightly cooler. The morning will start mostly cloudy with scattered showers likely, giving up to 2 mm in most places. As the day progresses conditions will improve with clouds breaking to partly cloudy skies by afternoon. West to southwest winds will blow around 15-17 kph with gusts to 30 kph. Tomorrow night will turn cloudier again with patchy to moderate fog developing, particularly inland and sheltered coastal areas. Rain will return with a better chance after midnight, potentially bringing around 5 mm. Temperatures will remain mild overnight at 14-16?C with winds easing slightly but still gusting to 26 kph.

    The warmest conditions tomorrow will be found inland at Kylemore and Oughterard where temperatures may reach 26-28?C under sunnier breaks. Coastal areas from Clifden to Cleggan will see highs of 23-24?C while the exposed islands will be cooler at 20-21?C. Rain chances are highest during the morning hours at 40 percent, dropping to a slight chance in the afternoon before increasing again tomorrow night to 50 percent. Fog will be most problematic tomorrow night, especially in valleys and sheltered bays.
