Why does it need to be 64-bit?

Why are you asking in the DOVE-Net Sysops echo? :-)

    Why specifically 64-bit?

There's a Synchronet JavaScript chess game in sbbs/xtrn/chess. Maybe that would be worth checking out?

sorry for posting in the wrong place, I was confused as to where to put this. I do not ask many questions. logicly asking "Sysops" seemd the right thing to do at the time. As for the 64 bit, when I went to execute the game it told me it couldnt run because it was not 64 bit. I just assumed it was an older piece of software and nothing i could do about it. However, someone just pointed to a game already in synchronet that I will check out. Thanks

There's also the Synchronet Sysops sub-board, which would have probably been better since you also mentioned Synchronet in your question.

Thanks, but I was asking Digital Man. I often post about new doors I've written (some are games and some are not), but there isn't a New Doors specific echo.

Probably the Harware / Software echo.

There's also the Synchronet Sysops echo, which I think would be the most appropriate area for Synchronet questions for other sysops (or Synchronet Discussion).

You wanted to ask sysops so that was a good place to ask.
We don't have a 'bbs' area.

You should run your bbs under a 32bit environment.

Also note that this is coming from the guy who announced the new version of Synchronet in a moped video.

There's a Synchronet JavaScript chess game in sbbs/xtrn/chess. Maybe that

Oo, I wonder if that or some other one could be made to connect to chess.com or whatever it is for a real-time match against some rando.
